Explore how to use fear as fuel.

Fear—fear of change, fear of inadequacy, fear of failure, fear of success (yes, you read that right!)—can be paralyzing, but, with the right mindset, being comfortable with the uncomfortable can in fact be used to our advantage. “Fear is nothing but fuel,” explains New York Times bestselling author Marie Forleo, who suggests learning how to “party with your fear.” In other words, we need not drive out that which scares us—after all, fear is a fact of life—but instead find ways to harness its powerful potential. Take it from the great Nelson Mandela: “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.”
