Many of us are feeling acutely the presence of grief—for our planet, for our losses, for people living in war-ravaged countries and under brutal dictatorships, for our fractured nation, for women whose reproductive autonomy is under attack, for those we've lost to COVID, for marginalized communities everywhere. As we move ahead, putting one foot in front of the other each day, we develop our own strategies for shaking off (or fighting against) the sense that a wolf is at our door.
