We live in a world that makes us face more individual and structural hurdles towards well-being than someone who is white. But while there are many common circumstances encountered by people of color in a world that clearly privileges and prioritizes whiteness, we experience them in unique ways. Our paths to physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, relational, and financial wellness can be impacted on a daily basis by those who discount or assume crucial parts of our experiences, identities, or traditions. Thriving in a full, vibrant life becomes a radical act of authenticity and healing.
Here we’ve collected wisdom on a wide range of topics through the unique lens of being a person of color.
