Andrew Harvey is a British author, religious scholar, and modern-day mystic who founded the Sacred Activism movement. He is the founder of the Institute for Sacred Activism, has authored more than thirty books on spirituality and mysticism, and is the subject of the 1993 BBC film documentary The Making of a Modern Mystic. His particular scholarly pursuits include Rumi, Sufi mysticism, Buddhism, yoga, and Christian mysticism.
