Elisabeth Kübler-Ross



Elisabeth Kübler-Ross (1926–2004), was a Swiss American psychiatrist whose compassion and courage to stand up for her dying patients changed how terminally ill patients are treated in the Western medical profession. Her bestselling book On Death and Dying presented her theory on the five stages of grief, now known as the Kubler-Ross Model.
