Elizabeth A. Stanley, PhD, is an American author and professor of international security. She is most known for focusing on understanding the social structures that drive human behavior during stress, trauma, uncertainty, and conflict. She developed an approach to resilience called Mindfulness-Based Mind Fitness Training (MMFT).
