George Gurdjieff



George Ivanovich Gurdjieff (1886–1949) was a Russian spiritual teacher who combined elements from the Eastern philosophies of the fakir, monk, and yogi into a “Fourth Way,” which was based on the idea that an individual’s human potential can only be fully realized by “waking up” into a unified consciousness.
