Greta Thunberg



Greta Tintin Eleonora Ernman Thunberg is a Swedish environmental activist who has gained international recognition for promoting the view that humanity is facing an existential crisis arising from climate change. Thunberg is known for her direct speaking manner and for repeatedly asking world leaders to take increased action to address the climate crisis. Her influence on others has been called the “Greta Effect.” She has received numerous awards including two consecutive nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize.
