Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo (born Diane Perry) is an English Tibetan Buddhist author, teacher, and founder of the Dongyu Gatsal Ling Nunnery in India. She was one of the first westerners in the world to be ordained as a Tibetan monastic, and she remains dedicated to promoting the rights of female spiritual practitioners.
