Lama Tsultrim Allione



Lama Tsultrim Allione, MA, is an American Buddhist author and teacher. She was the first American woman to be ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist nun by the sixteenth Karmapa. After four years as a nun practicing Buddhism and living in the Himalayas, she returned her monastic vows and authored Women of Wisdom, a groundbreaking book on the lives of great Tibetan women practitioners.
