Rainer Maria Rilke

Rainer Maria Rilke (born René Karl Wilhelm Johann Josef Maria Rilke, 1875–1923) was a Bohemian Austrian poet and novelist. His style was often described as lyrical or mystical and focused on connecting to the divine and inexpressible. New Age theologians have drawn heavily from his work, which has helped make him one of the bestselling poets in the United States.
