Roland Griffiths



Roland R. Griffiths, PhD, is an American psychopharmacologist who is credited with the revival of interest in the use of psychedelics as a treatment for depression, anxiety, and addiction via his clinical research. He is the launching director of the Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he is also a professor in the departments of psychiatry and neuroscience.
