Sylvia Wetzel



Sylvia Wetzel is a German Buddhist feminist deeply versed in the Tibetan, Zen, and Theravada traditions. A recipient of an “Outstanding Women in Buddhism” award from the International Women’s Meditation Center Foundation in Thailand, Wetzel is at the forefront of Buddhism in Europe on gender issues and cultural conditioning.
