Zalman Schachter-Shalomi



Zalman Schachter-Shalomi (1924–2014) was a rabbi, teacher, translator, and one of the founders of the Jewish Renewal. Influenced by medieval Christian mysticism, Eastern religion, and LSD in the 1960s, he helped innovate contemporary Jewish practice.
