Anger Management

Anger management refers to the process of learning to express anger in healthy ways. It isn’t about suppressing our anger or encouraging us to just “not be angry.” Not at all! Anger management is about making sure our anger doesn’t take control of our behavior and lead us to making choices we regret. Many people have come up with helpful strategies to learn how to recognize the signs that we are becoming angry and to moderate our physical reactions to our feelings of anger; this gives us the space we need to identify exactly what is making us angry and why, and it keeps us calm enough to deal with the situation in a productive way.
