Asatru (Norse) Paganism



Ásatrú is a modern form of Germanic neopaganism reconstructed from Scandinavian sources, often classified as Heathenism. Practitioners seek to revive traditional pre-Christian belief traditions using Old Norse texts, folklore, and archaeological material. Different groups profess varying beliefs, but there is general commonality in connecting with old Norse deities, frequently through public rituals and the use of altars within the home.
