Body Scan Meditation

Body scan meditation is a meditation technique in which the meditator mentally focuses on each part of the body, eventually scanning their entire physical system, noticing the emotions and sensations that arise as they focus their awareness on each area. Practitioners claim it encourages mindfulness, increases presence, and improves a richer awareness of the body.
