Child’s Alcohol Addiction

A child’s addiction to or dependency on alcohol is a difficult problem to tackle, as many factors come into play: family life, peer or social pressure, and life stress stemming from multiple possible arenas (school, romantic relationships, personal identity shifts, etc.). The abuse of alcohol has even more of an impact upon young people than adults because their brains are going through a very important developmental phase associated with memory and decision-making.

If you or someone you know is in immediate need of support, please seek professional help. If you are in crisis, here are some immediate free resources.
