Christianity

Christianity is a monotheistic religion established in the first century CE based on the teachings of Jesus, a Jewish rabbi in the Roman province of Judea. It is currently the world’s largest religion, practiced by 1 in 3 people worldwide. Christianity shares its theological base with Judaism and Islam in recognizing Abraham as the patriarch of faith, but differs in that it holds Jesus to be the Messiah prophesied in the Hebrew Bible.
