Crystal Bowls

Crystal bowls are a specific type of singing bowl made of quartz crystal. Singing bowls are idiophones, instruments that produce a vibration and resultant tone when struck, shaken, or scraped. Depending on the size of the bowl, the tone is varied (lower tones for larger bowls, higher tones for smaller bowls). They are used in meditation, for relaxation, and in sound therapy to treat physical, mental, and spiritual illness.
