Dementia



Dementia is a term that refers to a variety of cognitive impairments that most often occur in old age and involve the loss of memory and identity. Dementia interrupts a person’s life experience in disturbing ways and can be extremely difficult to face. Experiencing a decline in one’s own abilities or the abilities of someone we love can be equally painful and can benefit from the right kind of support.
