Depression is one of life’s many misunderstood challenges. More than just a period of feeling sad or down, it is a painful experience of disconnection that affects millions, each of us differently. Depression brings with it feelings of hopelessness, unworthiness, and dissatisfaction. It can arise from situational and biological factors and last for short or long periods. The good news is that whatever the cause, there are many small (and large!) ways we can help our brains and minds reconnect to our vibrant lives.
