Fear

Fear is a basic human emotion. It emerges in response to perceived physical or psychological danger, which is strongly dependent on context and personal history. While people express fear differently, all fear responses both stem from and catalyze deep biological shifts and changes in the body and mind. There is much to learn about—and from—fear and our responses to it; perhaps most empowering is how, though we have no control over the fear that rises in our bodies, we do have control in our body’s response to it.
