Lifestyle medicine is a healing approach focused on preventative and restorative healthcare through lifestyle choices and changes, such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, and sleep patterns. This approach is not meant to replace other medical interventions (such as surgery or medications), but proponents argue that earlier health changes and adjustments through lifestyle medicine can prevent, reverse, or mitigate many illnesses and conditions that would eventually necessitate those interventions.
