Veganism is a diet that excludes all animal products. Many people choose to be vegan out of environmental and ethical concerns over the resource consumption, habitat mismanagement, and animal treatment perpetuated for industrialized animal consumption; spiritual beliefs regarding the sanctity of all life; or health concerns—or some combination of the three.
