Yoga Nidra

Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping when the body is completely relaxed. It derives from an ancient Indian technique. As the brain is powering down, the practitioner becomes more aware of their inner landscape, typically led by a guided meditation. It is different from meditation as there is no focus, only a state of light withdrawal. Yoga nidra can help with insomnia, stress relief, anxiety concerns, and with post-traumatic stress recovery, among others.
