Resmaa Menakem, MSW, LICSW, is an American author, psychotherapist, and trauma specialist. He has served as the director of Tubman Family Alliance and specializes in the relationship between trauma and the human body. Menakem is the author of New York Times bestseller My Grandmother’s Hands.
