Robert Frager, PhD, is an American social psychologist, teacher, author, and spiritual leader. He helped to develop the field of transpersonal psychology and founded the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (now called Sofia University), where he directs the spiritual guidance program. Frager is a sheikh in the Halveti-Jerrahi Sufi Order and a master of the Japanese spiritual martial art form Aikido.
