Paleo Diet



The paleo diet, also known as the hunter-gatherer diet or caveman diet, is meant to mimic the foods eaten by those living during the Paleolithic era—lean meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. While encouraging the consumption of whole foods, paleo restricts foods that come from farming—dairy, grains, legumes, and most modern processed foods. Choosing a plan for eating is highly personal and should always be considered in consultation with a healthcare professional.
