"We Are Building God": Rainer Maria Rilke on the Divine

This is a lecture and discussion about the poet Rainer Maria Rilke's interesting and unconventional views on the divine, hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Community of the Catskills in January 2015. In the course of the talk, working from key letters and poems, we explore some of the key themes of Rilke's views on God, human beings, solitude, love, death, and modern life.
