In this segment, we're going to look at the sun card and what a beautiful card it is. This is the fifth stage of spiritual unfoldment and it is the fool as the wisdom child; naked, devesting itself of all worldly things, on it's way back to spirit. This card is the sunny world of direct experience and the last card, the moon, and we were asleep and here comes an awakening. This stage, awakening, is a very wonderful time. Is a very wonderful time. It's a time when you become, or starting to become, an addict. In alchemy, the great work is often referred to as the path of the sun. The Hebrew letter associated with the sun card is resh, which means face, or continence, and you can see that continence in the image of the sun itself, similar to the way they draw the sun in all the old alchemy books. It's to intermede that all of these things, the sun, the moon, are alive beings, not just objects in the sky, but filled with intelligence and life.
