We all have those moments when we are feeling down. Well guess what can make you feel better almost immediately? Spending money. It turns out that for the most part, we all like shopping – even when we are buying things we don’t actually need. When we are feeling depressed going to the mall on a spending spree can give you a feeling of relief. Although just temporary, it feels good – so much better than having to deal with our problems all of the time. However, what can start out as an innocent habit of shopping therapy can lead to obsessing about shopping and a full-blown addiction. This addiction can lead to money problems, stealing money from our parents, running up your credit cards, and relationship problems, as many of us try to hide the compulsive buying disorder from others. So how do you handle the urge to go shopping? How do you stop overspending? In this video, I give you 5 tips for how to stop spending so much money.
