This video is the second part of a two-part exploration into the topic of suicide. In this video I offer some opinions on what is wrong with mainstream approaches to dealing with the problem of suicide. I then make some suggestions for what we can do to support someone who is feeling suicidal.

Attempted Suicide: Overlooked & Under Served | Juliet Carr | TEDxGrandJunction

An estimated 25-200 suicide attempts occur for every suicide death. Loved ones are left emotionally wounded, blamed, fearful, shamed and also responsible for the life and wellness of the person who attempted suicide. Creating resources for this overlooked under served population is essential.
