Humans have a special place in their hearts and minds for stories. Stories are easy to remember, morally instructive, and more often than not enjoyable. Our memories are the stories we tell ourselves. These memories-which we always remember as movies that play in our heads-are some of the deepest connections we have to past versions of ourselves, which in turn affect who we are today. In his talk, David tells us three childhood stories that taught him some valuable lessons, from the importance of loyalty to solving the pee pee problem.
