J. Krishnamurti (1895–1986) was an Indian spiritual and philosophical teacher, speaker, and author. He followed no particular religion, philosophy, ideology, or spiritual tradition, but explored human consciousness, thought processes, belief systems, and quest for individual and collective freedom. His statement “truth is a pathless land” summarizes the heart of his teachings.
