Angela Lee Duckworth, PhD, is an American academic, MacArthur Fellow, psychologist, and popular science author who studies grit and self-control, especially in the context of helping adolescents. She is also the founder of Character Lab, a nonprofit with a mission to advance the science and practice of character development.
