Despite our best-laid plans, life is difficult, and we sometimes experience anger, anxiety, frustration, and doubt. This emotional chaos can negatively affect the way we live our lives.
Conflict is an unavoidable aspect of human existence, so it’s vital to develop communication skills that will help you navigate these challenging moments.
Words will work wonders if we are speaking with both heart and mind. By heart I mean a deep feeling of connection with everything and everyone and by mind a clear view of our strengths and weaknesses, the differences between us, and an ability to recognize our own limits.
For many of us, the current environment, magnified by 24-hour news outlets and social media, has created a level of stress, fear and anger that impacts our lives and relationships.
In recent years scientists have discovered that mindfulness can reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance our sense of well-being.

These days it’s hard to count on the world outside. So, it’s vital to grow strengths inside like grit, gratitude, and compassion—the key to resilience, and to lasting well-being in a changing world. True resilience is much more than enduring terrible conditions.
