Feng Shui

Feng shui is an ancient Chinese principle of geomancy, or using geography and natural surroundings for divination purposes. Practitioners of feng shui believe that universal energies flow like wind and water (“feng shui” translates to “wind-water”), and the arrangement of our surroundings can affect our own energies, health, and fortune. Feng shui’s main focus is on the harmonious construction and orientation of buildings and structures, though in the Western world its principles have been adopted largely in interior design.
