In the past few weeks, my journey took an unexpected path but one that has taught me so much and helped me grow. I learned a couple of key lessons.

We all love to think of ourselves as honourable and decent people. If I were to cite the most virtuous of values, I believe there would be few people who wouldn’t count courage among their own.
Learning how to grow up and be more mature starts with knowing what you truly value. Being an adult means sticking to your values, even when it’s not popular or doesn’t benefit you.
