Karlfried Graf Dürckheim



Karlfried Graf Dürckheim (1896–1988) was a German psychotherapist and Zen Master. Although he was introduced to Zen Buddhism early, he attributed the start of his teaching to a lengthy imprisonment in Japan after World War II. He continued to extol Eastern philosophies and Buddhism until his death in 1988.
