Bullying is a pattern of aggressive verbal, physical, or social behavior directed at a victim in an attempt to maintain or reinforce a sense of power over them. While it is most commonly associated with school-aged children, it can happen in any social group at any age. Bullying is often a social activity, with multiple people ganging up on a single individual or smaller group. Being the victim of even minor bullying can have long-lasting psychological effects. Whether moving past bullying experiences ourselves or helping someone else through it, learning how to deal with bullying can take different forms.
