Anthony de Mello



Anthony de Mello (1931–1987) was an Indian Jesuit priest, psychotherapist, spiritual teacher, retreat leader, and author. He used storytelling, drawing from both East and West mystical traditions, to teach mindfulness-based practices called “awareness prayer.”
