Dennis McKenna, PhD, is an American author, teacher, ethnopharmacologist, and research pharmacognosist. He has conducted extensive field research on the use of psychedelic botanicals in the Peruvian, Colombian, and Brazilian Amazon, some of it alongside his brother Terence McKenna, a well-known proponent of natural psychedelics.
