A Course in Miracles is a book written in 1976 by Helen Schucman, dictated to her, she believed, by Jesus Christ. It is a self-study spiritual thought system, the premise of which is that gaining a full “awareness of love’s presence” in one’s own life is the greatest miracle and true secret to fulfillment. It teaches students how to move from fear to love and urges us to operate from love in all things. The book has inspired multiple organizations and adherents who apply its teachings as a life philosophy.
