Love

How can we possibly define love? At its core, love is a deep feeling of closeness and affection, ideally unconditional and abiding. Affection for other humans, for the planet, for animals and experiences. Romantic love involving strong physical attraction is just one kind of love. Love in its essence is about opening and connecting at the heart. Through the ages, sages, mystics, philosophers, psychologists, poets, and artists of all kinds have tried to capture and express the majesty of this universal animating force.
