Curiosity

Curiosity is the open-minded, open-hearted desire to understand, learn, and explore. Curiosity about the world around us—and our inner selves—is a cornerstone of compassion, the key to clear communication, and the catalyst for personal growth. Curiosity is an innate part of human nature, but some of us were taught that asking questions was dangerous or not allowed; some of us were never given resources or tools to find the answers we were looking for. We can learn to reawaken our sense of curiosity and give it a stronger voice through various practices of self-awareness, mindfulness, and playful exploration.
