Plant-Based Medicine

Plant-based medicine is the ancient practice of using plants and their components to aid in our health. Plant-based medicine is not mutually exclusive to modern pharmaceutical and synthetic medicines: aspirin (from willow bark), quinine (from cinchona bark), and morphine (from the opium poppy) are all examples of plant-based medicine. As with all medical treatments, guidance should always be under the supervision of an expert medical professional. We’ve started gathering valuable information on this topic, but haven’t yet curated the findings.
