Living as an empath means living as a person who often lacks the filters to block out the emotions and energies of the world around you. Often considered to be a kind of psychic ability, the type of emotional empathy experienced by empaths allows them to feel deeply and bring heart, hope, and caring to our world. On the other hand, an empath may have deep internal struggles to keep from feeling overwhelmed by outside stimuli and negative energy.
