The Rosen Method is a somatic approach to healing physical and emotional tension. It involves gentle, direct touch by a trained professional and focuses on chronic muscle tension. As the body relaxes and the breath deepens, memories and feelings often emerge. This enables clients to become aware of what they are holding in the body and provides a safe space as well as an avenue for release. The process was developed by Marion Rosen, a Germany-born American physiotherapist.
Welcome to a film of Rosen Method Movement. Elegant in it's simplicity, powerful in it's effectiveness, Rosen Movement is appropriate for all ages. Based on the full 'range of motion' movements from physical therapy, it is a complete but gentle workout that aids in keeping the body healthy.
Rosen Method Bodywork combines reflective dialogue and gentle touch to integrate mind and body in a way that few therapeutic modalities do. It can be a wonderful compliment to traditional talk therapy or massage, or can stand strongly on its own.
