Narcissism is used to describe a pattern of behaviors marked by an outsized sense of self-importance, a deep need for attention and adoration, and a severe lack of empathy for others. While a moderate amount of self-centeredness and confidence can be important to achieving goals, narcissists express these character traits in the extreme, are emotionally abusive by nature, and can leave the people they relate to feeling overrun, whiplashed, drained, and destabilized. We’ve started gathering valuable information on this topic, but haven’t yet curated the findings.
